Long version w/ some backstory: Just installed a set of BC Racing Coilovers on my RSX and I’m quite pleased with them. (These are not made by Buddy Club, BC Racing is its own. Comes with 2 wrenches and an 8mm allen wrench to adjust the front camber plates. All four strut tops are metal and spherical (duh), which is awesome. The rears were a bit more of a PITA than the fronts, but I went around this by first bolting them to the knuckle, and then aligning the three bolts up top. At the end of the day, if your budget is tight and you are looking for a quality coilover suspension system, BC Racing is the way to go. Recommended for its performance. H&R Price – $1,500+ Ride Quality – Smooth, but stiff Performance – For daily driving; trips to the track Lifespan – 40-50K miles Warranty – Five years. Everything about them is built to be mass produced cheaply. They’re built for mass distribution. The piston sucks, the oil sucks, the valving sucks (they don’t provide a shock dyno, which confirms the shock sucks), they rust, they seize, etc. If you have the $995, surely you can spend $200-300 more and at least get Fortune Auto. 4 level 2.
